The Opening of the China International Supply Chain Expo

The second China International Supply Chain Expo opened in Beijing. With the theme of "Linking the World, Creating the Future", it covers an area of 120,000 square meters. More than 600 enterprises participated in the expo, and the number of exhibitors increased by 20% compared with the first session. Moreover, a new advanced manufacturing chain exhibition area was added to comprehensively display the innovation of the industrial chain. Its internationalization level and innovation-leading role are remarkable.

The Introduction of the Logistics Cost Reduction Plan

China has newly introduced the "Action Plan for Effectively Reducing the Total Logistics Costs of the Whole Society". It is planned to reduce the ratio of total logistics costs to GDP to 13.5% by 2027. It is expected to save more than 1 trillion yuan in logistics costs, aiming to enhance the competitiveness of the manufacturing industry, optimize the layout of productive forces, improve the level of logistics services, and promote high-quality economic development.
